Recruiting is the primary function of Human Resources Management that affects all other HR factors: Training and Development, Compensation, Safety and Health and the Labor Union and relationship.  Recruiting is the process of attracting and screening individuals on a timely basis, in sufficient numbers and with the appropriate qualifications, to apply for jobs with an organization.   For some components of the recruitment process, mid and large-size organizations often retain professional recruiters or outsource some of the process to recruitment agencies.  Recruiting could be done in many methods divided into two sources: internal or external and it may be replaced by some alternatives as outsourcing, contingent workers, employee leasing, and overtime‚Ķ Recruiting is influenced by environmental factors and it affects the organizational objectives and mission.

The recruitment industry types of agencies: employment agencies, recruitment websites and job search engines, "headhunters" for executive and professional recruitment, niche agencies which specialize in a particular area of staffing and in-house recruitment.
